1-2月份生日會暨中華文化活動Birthday Party and Chinese cultural event celebrating the months of January and February



23-2-2024（星期五）為1-2月份生日會暨中華文化活動，我們舉行了不同的活動，包括：舞獅巡禮、中華文化村、蹴鞠遊戲及欣賞民族舞曲《青春舞曲》。
在中華文化村，幼兒探索不同的中國民間傳統玩意，包括：陀螺、七巧板、扯鈴及毽子等。透過活動，幼兒體驗中華傳統玩意的樂趣。

On February 23-2-2024 (Friday), we had a birthday party and Chinese cultural event celebrating the months of January and February. We organized various activities including Lion Dance Parade, Chinese Cultural Village, Cuju game, and enjoyed a traditional music.

In the Chinese Cultural Village, children had the opportunity to explore different traditional Chinese folk toys such as spinning tops, tangrams, diabolos, and shuttlecocks. Through these activities, children experienced the joy of playing with Chinese traditional toys and gained a deeper understanding of Chinese culture.



道路安全親子填色創作比賽 2023Road Safety Parent-Child Coloring Competition 2023



恭賀:本校學生 K.2 Blue（WD) 王鎬霖於香港交通安全隊新界南總區及香港警務處新界南總區交通部道路安全組合辦的「道路安全親子填色創作比賽 2023 」中榮獲優異獎，獎項由香港警務處新界南總區指揮官麥展豪先生 PDSM頒發👍🏻。

希望透過是次填色比賽，向隊員、家長及大眾市民宣揚道路安全的重要性，以防範交通意外的發生，共同實行「路上零意外，香港人人愛」的交通安全理念❤️

Congratulations: K.2 Blue（WD) Wong Ho Lam a student of our school, won the Manhattan Award in the “Road Safety Parent-Child Coloring Competition 2023” organized by the Hong Kong Traffic Safety Corps New Territories South Region and the Road Safety Section of the Traffic Department, New Territories South Region of the Hong Kong Police Force. The award was given by PDSM presented by Mr. Mak Chin-ho, Commander of the New Territories South Region of the Hong Kong Police Force👍🏻.

舞獅巡禮Lion Dance Procession



23-2-2024（星期五）為1-2月份生日會暨中華文化活動，我們舉行了熱鬧的舞獅巡禮，感受著新年的喜慶氛圍。

On February 23-2-2024 (Friday), we had birthday party of January and February, with a festive event that incorporated Chinese culture. We organized an exciting lion dance procession, allowing everyone to immerse themselves in the joyous atmosphere of the Lunar New Year.

In the new year, we wish our children:

農曆新年慶團年活動The Lunar New Year celebration



農曆新年慶團年活動於2024年2月5日（星期一）和2月6日（星期二）舉行。在火鍋活動中，孩子們親自準備食材，一起品嘗火鍋，認識火鍋食物，並體驗團年氛圍。活動結束後，他們共同創作火鍋食物，使用彩色紙和黏土展現出豐富多樣的食材。此外，K.3學生設計了有趣的攤位遊戲，供全校學生參與。透過遊戲，孩子們培養了領導潛能、創意、合作精神和解難能力。他們從中獲得學習的樂趣，同時享受到群體生活的樂趣。這次活動讓孩子們度過了一個充滿歡樂和學習的農曆新年團圓體驗，同時增進對中國傳統飲食文化的了解。期待未來更多豐富多彩的活動！

The Lunar New Year celebration took place on February 5th (Monday) and February 6th (Tuesday), 2024. During the hot pot activity, the children personally prepared the ingredients and enjoyed the hot pot together, gaining knowledge about hot pot cuisine and experiencing the festive atmosphere of the New Year. After the activity, they collaborated to create their own hot pot food using colored paper and clay, showcasing a diverse range of ingredients.

In addition, the K.3 students designed engaging booth games for the entire school to participate in. Through these games, they developed leadership skills, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. The children learned and enjoyed the fun of group activities.

This event provided the children with a joyful and educational Lunar New Year gathering experience, while deepening their understanding of traditional Chinese cuisine. We look forward to more exciting and enriching activities in the future!



「遊戲‧學習‧成長」的計劃”Play, Learn, Grow” project



遊戲是孩子生命的一部分，它陪伴孩子成長，為孩子的智力、體能、情意及群性發展建立良好的基石。本校今年參與了香港中文大學教育學院大學與學校夥伴協作中心一項名為「遊戲‧學習‧成長」的計劃。而高班在1月初亦完成了「海洋」

為主題的遊戲課程。過程中，老師配合3E元素，包括：探索（Explorative )、表達（Expressive )及賦權（Empowered )，設計了不同的遊戲活動，讓幼兒能夠透過分享、合作及參與，更主動學習。而為了讓家長更了解遊戲教學法，本校稍後將會舉辦遊戲工作坊，屆時會派發通告，歡迎各位家長踴躍參與

！Play is a part of children’s life, it fosters children to grow up, for children’s intellectual, physical, emotional and group development to establish a good foundation.This year, we participate in the “Play, Learn, Grow” project held by the Chinese University of Hong KongFaculty of Education Centre for University & School Partnership.In January, we have completed a play-based learning curriculum for K.3 children with the theme of “ocean”

.In the process, teachers designed different play activities with the 3E elements, including: Explorative, Expressive and Empowered, so that children are motivated to learn through sharing, cooperation and engagement.In order to let parents know more about the play-based learning, we will hold a parent’s workshop later. Details will be announced very soon. Parents are welcome to participate!

低班健康菜色齊烹飪活動 K.2- Healthy Dish cooking activity



12-1-2024（星期五）低班幼兒進行健康菜色齊烹飪活動，活動中邀請🧑‍🍳李冠宏家長和王鎬霖家長示範烹調番茄炒蛋🍅🥚。
在製作過程中，幼兒能認識番茄和雞蛋的營養價值，還幫忙切番茄和拌蛋漿，很開心啊！🥰希望家長和幼兒在家中都能一起嘗試烹調這道既美味又有營養的食品，😋從而培養孩子良好的飲食習慣。
K.2 children participated in a healthy dish cooking activity on 12-1-2024 (Friday). The parents of🧑‍🍳Li Kwun Wang and Wong Ho Lam were also invited to demonstrate how to cook tomato and eggs🍅🥚.
During the cooking process, the children were able to understand the nutritional value of tomatoes and eggs.They also helped cutting tomatoes and beat eggs. They were very happy! 🥰I hope parents and children can try cooking this delicious and nutritious dish together at home. 😋So as to develop good eating habits.



2023 AIGC + 元宇宙–創新應用國際競賽（港澳賽區）2023 AIGC + Metaverse–Innovative Application International Competition (Hong Kong and Macau Division)



本校於2-12-2023（星期六）聯同分校的幼兒榮獲香港電腦教育學會邀請，進行「2023 AIGC + 元宇宙–創新應用國際競賽（港澳賽區）」的表演嘉賓，他們會利用VR創新科技，和台下觀眾講故事，表演前幼兒先選擇一本自己喜歡的故事，並細心閱讀，而且在故事中加入VR的元素，讓幼兒分享故事內容。表演時，幼兒表現積極，過程中不但能讓幼兒認識到VR的創新科技，培養對電腦的認識，並且能提升幼兒的自信心及演講的能力，獲益良多。再次，感謝香港電腦學會的邀請！👍🏻

On 2-12-2023 (Saturday), the children of our school and the branch campus were invited by the Hong Kong Computer Education Society to perform as guest performers in the “2023 AIGC + Metaverse–Innovative Application International Competition (Hong Kong and Macau Division)”. They will use VR innovative technology , tell stories to the audience. Before the performance, the children choose a story they like and read it carefully. VR elements are added to the story to allow the children to share the content of the story. During the performance, the children showed great enthusiasm and performed with confidence. In the process, the children not only learned about the innovative technology of VR and developed their understanding of computers, but also improved the children’s self-confidence and speech ability, and benefited a lot. Again, thank you to the Hong Kong Computer Society for the invitation!👍🏻



參觀惠康超級市場Visit Wellcome Supermarket



16-11-2023（星期四），高班老師與幼兒前往惠康超級市場參觀。過程中，幼兒積極投入，觀察到超級市場裏售賣了各種食物，有魚、有雞蛋、有蔬菜、有水果等，十分豐富。
同時，幼兒亦手持購物清單，與老師一起購買了粟米、芝士、麪包、吞拿魚及菠蘿等食材，並於17-11-2023（星期五）進行小食嘗試活動。幼兒按照健康飲食金字塔的營養配搭，利用所選購食材，自己動手製作了美味的健康薄餅🍕🥰

16-11-2023 (Thursday), K.3 teachers and children visited Wellcome Supermarket. During the process, all children participated actively and observed the variety of foods, including fish, eggs, vegetables, fruits, etc., which were very abundant.
At the same time, K.3 children also prepared shopping lists including corns, cheese, bread, tuna, pineapple and other ingredients. After that, K.3 children participated in snack making activity on 17-11-2023 (Friday). Children can make healthy pizza by themselves using commonly used ingredients according to The Food Pyramid when they making the healthy pizza.🍕🥰
